My client is a well established MEP Building services consultancy in Tunbridge Wells and they currently have an opportunity for a forward thinking and dynamic Electrical Design Engineer who can grow within the business. The current directors started as graduate Electrical Design Engineers and worked their way up through the business.
The company has gained significant and valuable project experience across most work sectors in building services; however, it is the healthcare, laboratory and education sectors in particular, where they can really showcase their strength and expertise. They have an impressive portfolio of clients and projects which is mostly repeat business and term agreements.
The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early career professionals looking to develop their skills in electrical design and contribute to exciting projects within building services
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the and development of electrical systems for various projects.
Collaborate with Senior engineers to create detailed design specifications and schematics.
Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions and optimise performance.
Participate in project meeting and contribute ideas for improvements and innovations.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering
Basic knowledge of electrical design principles and software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow in the field.
