I require candidates to have extensive experience in Air Traffic Engineering, including expertise in Ground/Air Communication systems, Navigational Aids (Navaids), radars, and related technologies. It is essential to demonstrate proven leadership and team management experience in a technical environment. Additionally, ATSEP certification or equivalent high-level training is necessary. A strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards within air traffic control operations is crucial. Experience in a similar senior-level role within civil aviation or military/RAF operations will be highly advantageous.
In this role, I will lead the maintenance and repair of Ground/Air Communication systems, Navigational Aids (Navaids), Primary and Secondary Surveillance Radars, and computer-based information systems. I will ensure the continuous safe operation of all air traffic control systems and services. Implementing and maintaining Safety, Quality, and Security Management systems while adhering to company standards will be one of my key focuses. I will also provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and supervise contractors and third-party personnel as necessary. Conducting system modifications and upgrades to enhance operational efficiency and compliance, as well as troubleshooting complex technical issues to ensure minimal disruption to service operations, will be essential parts of my responsibilities.
