About the role:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic KS2 Teacher to join this supportive and dedicated school community. This part-time role is ideal for someone seeking to make a meaningful impact in a school with a strong ethos of creativity and excellence. In this role, you will be teaching a mixed-age KS2 class, with a maximum class size of 25 students. You will have the opportunity to inspire young learners across a wide range of subjects, including English, Maths, Science, and Humanities, with a focus on project-based learning and creative activities. The school is committed to providing a supportive environment for both staff and students, with a strong team of teaching assistants available in the classroom.
Application Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in a part-time role.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and a creative approach to teaching.
• The ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
• Support the social and emotional development of students, including those with SEN.
• Work closely with teaching assistants to ensure all students receive the support they need.
• Track and assess student progress, providing timely feedback.
• Engage with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s education.
• Participate in school events and contribute to the vibrant school community.
