Job Description
Role: Charity Engagement Officer
Reports to: CEO/Managing Director
Rate of pay: £25,200 (pro rata)
Hours of work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm. We would be willing to consider reduced hours (to minimum of 21 hours/week) and flexible working for the right candidate; this would be discussed if you were invited to an interview. 18 months fixed term contract with a view to a permanent appointment.
Location: Currently we work mainly from home, the expectation is that the successful candidate will meet with the team at least once per week at a specific and convenient location. Travel to and from the location would be at the candidate’s own expense.

The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Charity Engagement Officer to join our team. We seek an individual with excellent communication skills who has considerable experience of delivering unrivalled customer service.
This will be a first-class opportunity to gain experience in both the charity and corporate sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and abilities:
* Outstanding customer service skills
* To work as an Account Manager and to serve as a liaison between a charity and a mobile network.
* Address the customers' needs and concerns quickly and effectively to develop and maintain a strong relationship.
* The ability to work with multiple small accounts as well as larger ones.
* Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
* Strong attention to detail.
* An organised individual who enjoys keeping on top of everyday administration tasks.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Excellent IT skills.
* Experience and confidence using Microsoft packages.
* Ability to work flexibly, adapting approach to tasks to suit the changing needs and pace of the organisation.
* Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.
* Reliability.
* Positive, friendly attitude.
About Good Call
GoodCall is a not-for-profit social enterprise that exclusively supports voluntary sector (not-for-profit) organisations across the UK who require mobiles, tablets, or connectivity to be able to deliver their services. Our overheads are covered using commission we receive from mobile networks; surplus on every connection is returned to the voluntary organisations in either lower line rental, better handsets or in monthly rebates, increasing affordability of the resource. We have already saved our organisations hundreds of thousands of pounds, which is redirected back into their services, benefitting their communities of interest. Since established in 2019, we have grown to support almost 200 organisations, across many social causes, including supporting young people, homelessness, cancer support, and social housing.
