Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) of Mathematics with a desire to inspire young minds and foster a love of learning in a faith-based environment? We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring individual to join our supportive Mathematics department in a Catholic secondary school in Hillingdon.

About the Role:
* Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and potentially Key Stage 4, depending on your experience and skills.
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported to make progress in mathematics.
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore mathematical concepts, and develop their understanding.
* Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
* Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our Mathematics curriculum remains relevant, challenging, and engaging for all students.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to share best practices, support student learning, and contribute to the school's Catholic ethos.
* Participate in the school's ECT induction program and benefit from mentoring and support from experienced colleagues to develop your teaching practice and grow as a professional.
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Mathematics, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Mathematics and relevant teaching pedagogies.
* Demonstrates a passion for teaching mathematics and a commitment to student success, with a genuine desire to inspire and support young people.
* Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Is confident in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported to achieve their best.
* Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, embracing opportunities to learn and grow as an ECT.
* Is supportive of the school's Catholic ethos and values, and willing to contribute to the school's faith-based community.
