KS5 Media/Art – Teaching Assistant Location : Norwood Pay : £100 - £110 per day Contract : Part-time (4 days per week) We are excited to partner with a SEMH College in Norwood who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant (TA) with a specialism in Media/Art to support their post-16 cohort. If you're passionate about working with young adults, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Essential Requirements: A strong understanding of SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) and several years of experience in the field. Proven experience supporting post-16 students, including those with additional educational needs. Competence in supporting KS5 Art/Media pathways, with an ability to work closely with students on our Art and Media courses. Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Desirable Skills and Attributes: A background or qualifications in Art/Media to better support our KS5 curriculum. A patient, empathetic approach, focused on promoting both the personal and academic growth of young adults. Experience supporting students in their transitions to further education, training, or employment. This role offers an immediate start, pending successful completion of vetting checks.
