Diversity & Inclusion forms part of the Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition team at Softcat. This team sits in the wider HR and Property department alongside the following teams – HR Business Partners and Employee Engagement, Reward, Payroll and HR Services, L&D and Property and Workplace. Become our Diversity and Inclusion expert
As the Diversity & Inclusion Lead, you'll be responsible for delivering on the D&I strategy and roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Acquisition. This role is integral in representing Softcat's D&I initiatives both internally and externally. By working closely with our network leads and external partners, you'll ensure we truly understand our people and continue to create a diverse and inclusive work environment.
This position is suited to a strategic, commercial, and innovative D&I expert who is passionate about driving results and enabling Softcat to achieve its strategic goals.
As our Diversity and Inclusion Lead, you'll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with the Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Acquisition to create a considered D&I strategy that will deliver meaningful change to the business.
* Executing against the D&I strategy, ensuring full alignment with Softcat's wider ESG goals and working practices.
* Managing stakeholder relationships across the wider HR and Property department, network leads, business leaders, ESG team, Marketing, customers, and account managers.
* Providing insightful D&I reporting – external facing reports, Board reports, Leadership Team updates, and ad hoc reporting.
* Working with the Talent Acquisition team to encourage diverse recruitment processes and practices.

* Previous experience working within the field of Diversity and Inclusion.
* An understanding of different cultures, with a commitment to creating and nurturing a truly inclusive environment.
* A strategic and commercial acumen with an appreciation of the benefits of D&I on business performance.
* Collaboration and matrix management skills.
* An attentive listener and effective communicator.
* Previous experience in Event management.
