Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will: Supervise and oversee the installation of plumbing, pipefitting, heating, and ventilation systems. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, adhering to industry regulations and company policies. Coordinate and manage a team of mechanical operatives and subcontractors on-site. Work closely with project managers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Manage and oversee the delivery of materials and equipment to site. Provide technical guidance and support to the team when required. Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Prepare and maintain site documentation, including progress reports and risk assessments. Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will have: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing, Heating, or a related mechanical discipline. Proven experience supervising mechanical installations on large-scale projects in commercial, education, residential, or local authority sectors. Strong knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, heating, and ventilation systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and industry standards. The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
