Our Ledbury based client is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer on a full time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, whilst providing financial insights to support continuous growth and future plans of the business.
What you can expect:
* Salary: circa 35,000 per annum, depending on experience
* Working hours: Office hours, 37.5 hours per week

What you will be doing:
* Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and all financial transactions
* Credit control
* Month end preparation
* Management accounts and analysis responsibilities (training provided, if no prior experience)
* General administration tasks to support within a small business
* Working closely with sales & marketing, and production teams, during busy periods to provide cover e.g. trade shows and distribution duties
What we are looking for:
* Proven experience in a financial role
* Qualified minimum AAT Level 3, although candidates working towards will be considered
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles
* Attention to detail and strong numerical skills
* Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
* Preferable Xero experience, not essential
* ACCA/CIMA qualified would be advantageous, not essential
