About the role
The Assistant Inventory Manager will be instrumental in helping the organisation to achieve its Agile Transformational goals. Responsible for embedding an Agile culture, methodology, tools and techniques in order to help teams keep a delivery and learning cadence that helps to remain focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic.
Responsible for guiding teams through the implementation process, encouraging colleagues and leadership to embrace the Agile mind-set and associated methodologies.
What you’ll need to have
* The candidate must be working in a Level 6 / Level 7 role or have previous experience of stepping up to a Level 6/7.
* Good organisation skills coupled with a determined approach to reach the Inventory KPI targets.
* Ideal candidates will be numerical, have solid computer skills, good communication skills and be driven by exceeding goals.
* Ideally, you will have worked in a team and focused on developing yourself as well as staff, managing performance and achieving results.
* The personal attributes required are someone who is a self-starter, calm under pressure, and an effective communicator.
* The role at times will be fast-paced and challenging; therefore, you must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and approach, be prepared to work alongside your team, and be driven to achieve a high level of service.
It would be great if you also have
* Recent inventory experience, i.e., leading a team, managing warehouse adjustments, and warehouse stock files.
