Job Description Summary The purpose of the GEV Project Management Associate is to provide support to the Project Manager, to coordinate all the key activities / tasks highlighted in Operations against the relevant warranty projects. The PMA role interfaces with several stakeholders both internal and external to the Operations Department. As such it is requires good understanding of project management principles and people skills, in some cases, asking & challenging awkward questions. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Coordinating all the activities highlighted by the PM against the assigned projects. Coordinate all the customer & internal reports with the owners assigned and to ensure that these are closed out in a timely manner and reported to the PM on a regular basis. Monitor progress to ensure that they are returned to the customer with technical reports. Interface with Sourcing & Procurement and suppliers. Support/Raise SPT process for raising of requisitions and follow up with Sourcing/Engineering departments. Interface with Project Controls and Site teams for timely completion of the project KPIs. Maintain log of “Bonds” on warranty projects Maintain log of all Project contracts and PO’s, including Variation orders. Maintaining the project filing system. Support of the purchase requisition process for raising of requisitions and follow up with Procurement department. Education: HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering Discipline. Experience: Previous Project Management experience in the same or similar environment would be advantageous but is not mandatory. Specific Competencies: Coordination of multiple project activities as defined by the PM. Good understanding of at least one industry standard planning tool (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet.). Behavioral / Managerial Competencies Good people management and communication skills, able to think laterally, challenge individuals against agreed tasks & schedules.
