Role Overview: They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Surveyor to join the dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the planning, development, and management of commercial property projects across the Midlands. Key Responsibilities: Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies to assess the potential of commercial development projects. Manage and coordinate all aspects of the development process, from acquisition to completion. Liaise with local authorities, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects meet regulatory standards and company objectives. Prepare and analyze financial appraisals and investment reports to guide decision-making processes. Negotiate contracts and agreements with landowners, tenants, and other stakeholders. Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and timelines. Provide strategic advice on land acquisition, planning applications, and market trends. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Surveying, or a related field. Professional qualification such as MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent. Proven experience in commercial property development, preferably within the Midlands region. Strong knowledge of property law, planning regulations, and development finance. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in the use of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Midlands.
