Commissioning Technician EC&I
Security Clearance is a requirement for this role, with BPSS and P4 pass certification essential.
Job Summary
The Commissioning Technician works under the supervision of the Commissioning Engineer, without commissioning personnel reporting to them.
The Commissioning Technician is responsible for:
Ensuring Safety protocols are in place and followed during commissioning activities.
Conducting electrical and instrumentation checks on installed systems.
Collaborating with engineers to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions.
Developing and maintaining accurate documentation of commissioning activities and results.
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Description
This role involves working on site at various locations across the UK, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are commissioned safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Relevant trade or technical qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds).
Proven experience in electrical and instrumentation installation and commissioning.
Familiarity with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
