Brief Description
As part of an exciting transformation in the Eastern Region Commercial Directorate, we are looking for talented individuals to join our growing team and work alongside a range of business units and across a varied and large portfolio. There are opportunities to support and lead Commercial activities on major projects and programmes, which deliver some of the most exciting and innovative projects in UK infrastructure.

In the Commercial Management Assistant role, you will provide support in the everyday management and operational requirements of the commercial and procurement function. Assist with the administration of duties and reporting of the functions performance, in accordance with the relevant Procurement Regulations and Commercial & Procurement Policy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and maintain Power BI dashboards for training stats such as COMAEA, Proc Regs, NEC & Mandatory competencies for the full Commercial directorate.
2. Prepare / maintain Commercial Directorate dashboard.
3. Provide support with Apprentice / Graduate sessions organising diaries / rooms etc.
4. Manage the Commercial directorate staff register logging Professional Qualifications etc.
5. Act as secretary for People Panel organise periodic reviews / rooms etc.
6. Take responsibility for the Commercial sharepoint training site.
7. Organise G&A team diary around QBR dates etc.
8. Assist with sorting team events booking venues etc.
9. Managing the PSERV register of hired in Commercial staff.
10. Act as secretary for the national heads of assurance meeting.
Essential Requirements
1. Some experience in a commercial or procurement environment in a public sector body.
2. Previous experience of working in a programme or project team.
3. Experience with cross-functional collaborative working methods.
4. Proven completer finisher mindset with successful experience of working to tight deadlines while maintaining high quality output.
5. Demonstrable prioritisation skills.
6. Proven organisational skills.
7. Understanding of working in a regulated environment.
Desirable
1. Educated to degree level or equivalent relevant experience.
