You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis, ensuring that leadership has the insights needed to make informed decisions. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will enhance financial visibility, drive efficiency, and support strategic initiatives as we scale our operations in offshore wind technology. Your work will directly influence Beam’s ability to accelerate the offshore wind transition through data-driven financial planning. By delivering accurate forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities, and optimizing resource allocation, you will enable smarter decision-making that fuels innovation and sustainable growth. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include: First 30 Days: Familiarize yourself with existing financial planning processes, reporting structures, and business strategies. Build relationships with key stakeholders across finance, operations, and other departments. First 60 Days: Assess current budgeting and forecasting methodologies; identify areas for enhancement. Collaborate with department heads to gather data and insights for financial analysis. First 90 Days & Beyond: Lead the development and implementation of robust budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes. Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive business performance. Monitor key financial metrics, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure alignment of financial planning with the company's strategic objectives. You should apply if you have: We know it’s tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Xero). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
