This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to gain experience in the education sector, particularly individuals considering a future career in teaching. What is a cover supervisor? A cover supervisor requires no qualification and will deliver lessons to pupils in the absence of a teacher. All work will be pre-prepared, and you will not be expected to do any marking. You will be responsible for managing the classroom, ensuring that work is being completed, and support is provided to pupils where necessary. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons across different subjects and year groups in the absence of the regular teacher. Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline, in line with school policies. Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistent and high-quality educational delivery. Act as a professional role model, maintaining focus and positive behaviour to foster a productive learning environment.
