Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Domestic Air Source Heat Pump and Solar PV systems. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Duties
* Install ASHP systems and Solar PV systems.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the appropriate solutions.
* Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
* Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or issues.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
* Must have Solar PV City and guilds qualification.
* Must have experience working with and wiring ASHP units.
* Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work.
* Ability to read technical documents and blueprints.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
