About the role
We are working on an exciting Key Account Manager role for a market-leading FMCG business! Established over 50 years ago, this family-run FMCG giant has experienced excellent growth, becoming Europe’s leading manufacturer in their category and is now growing their commercial team and hiring a Key Account Manager.
This is an amazing, unique stepping stone role into a fully-fledged National Account Manager after a training and shadowing period of 12-18 months.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Work alongside the Head of Sales and National Account Manager’s supporting accounts across Grocery, High Street, Online, Discounters and B2B
2. Building strong relationships with Buyers
3. Being hands-on and involved with meetings and presentations with key Customers and Buyers
4. Complete market research for both competitor and consumer analysis
5. Commercial duties – Profile & Loss management, forecasting, negotiating
6. Organise price changes, range reviews and promotion plans throughout the year
7. General administration
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:
1. A minimum of 2 years experience within National Accounts in an FMCG environment
2. Experience in supporting or managing accounts with key retailers
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks successfully
4. Passion for on-the-job learning
5. Ambitious and keen to progress
6. Energetic and motivated sales professional with passion and hunger to deliver
