Role: Residential Support Worker Location: Dilston College, Corbridge Hours per week: 40 Salary: £25,708.80 rising to £26,499.20 post probation We are looking for the best to join the best Dilston College are recruiting now for experienced Residential Support Workers to join their growing team. We are an independent specialist provider of further education offering 38 and 52 week residential placements as well as day placements for young people with learning difficulties, Autism, challenging behaviours and complex needs. The young people within our college range between 16 and 25 years of age. Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own Key Responsibilities Assist young people in developing life skills, qualifications, and confidence. Provide a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes individual growth. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised care plans. Act as a positive role model while engaging young people in educational and social activities. Facilitate and support daily living tasks and routines, ensuring safety and well-being. Required Skills and Qualifications: Genuine passion for improving the lives of young people. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team. Flexible approach to shift work, adapting to varying scheduling needs. Mature, calm demeanour with active listening skills. Must hold a clean Full UK Driving License.
