Job summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maternity Matron to lead and manage the Antenatal Clinic, Community Midwifery, and Caseload Midwifery teams. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring high standards of care, service improvement, and strategic development in line with NHS maternity transformation initiatives, including Better Births and the NHS Long-Term Plan. The post holder will provide strong operational and professional leadership, ensuring safe, high-quality, and compassionate maternity care. They will drive innovation, workforce development, and collaborative working across the hospital and community settings, supporting continuity of care models and reducing health inequalities. Main duties of the job Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Antenatal Clinic, Community Midwifery, and Caseload Midwifery teams, ensuring excellence in patient care.
