Location : Gwent wide Based at our Blaenau Gwent Hwb x A regular presence across Blaenau Gwent Hwb and accommodation projects required Some Gwent wide travel to other Hwbs and meeting required Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st May 2026 Agile – working where and when required, to do the job most effectively Hours & working Pattern: 35 Hours per week (negotiable working pattern across Monday to Friday) Occasional evening and weekend work Participate in the organisations Tier 3 on call rota (paid) All team members must work flexibly on occasions to meet the needs of the Charity and the people we support Salary: £29,000, moving to £29,500 (pro-rata) after succesful completion on 6-month probationary period Accountable to: Blaenau Gwent Support Services Manager Accountable for : Line management of Team Leader, Refuge Support Workers and Support Workers within the team Purpose of the post Oversee the day-to-day coordination of the VAWDASV accommodation and community support services in Blaenau Gwent, manging Team leaders and team members. Ensure specialist trauma informed and person led support is provided to people affected by Violence Against Women, Domestic Abuse and/or Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) Responsibilities Work closely with the Service Manager to contribute to achieving Cyfannol Women’s Aid’s Vision and Mission Manage team members by demonstrating and positively role modelling the organisation’s values and culture. Collaborate with team members to plan and deliver high quality, specialist, trauma informed, person led support services. Empower individuals to have informed choice, to design and achieve meaningful and impactful outcomes, led by them. Key collaborator in the development of a range of ways for adults and children to feedback about their experience. Manage Safeguarding for your service area, complying with internal and external policy and legislation, authorise adult and child referrals Manage the delegated aspects of budgetary responsibility including some purchasing, work closely with the Finance department. Provide support team with case management and direction, providing support for emergency/ crisis situations, complex cases, team member absence, when more than one worker are required. Manage team preparation and attendance to Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC), core group and other similar meetings. Key collaborator with the Service Manager in collecting information and producing timely returns and other reports as part of funding requirements. Key collaborator to monitoring the team’s compliance to external quality standards (e.g., WWA NQSS) and External audits (e.g., Housing Support Grant Commissioning audits) Oversee regular audits including OASIS data base recording system within own and other organisational services, provide improvement plans where appropriate Manage data compliance for the service and support team members to keep accurate and timely records in all aspects of the service and case work. Work collaboratively with other Service Coordinators to ensure accommodation and community referral paths are easily accessible are clear and concise, and to continue to promote a whole team approach. Key Contributor in managing risk compliance, supporting team members to regularly assess and positively managing risk for adults and children we support in an inclusive and enabling way. Contribute (through working closely with the Facilities Coordinator) to ensuring a safe compliant and quality environment across Hwbs and services Support the Service Manager with preparations for retendering of services. Contribute to internal development projects as part of an organisational continuous improvement. Represent the organisation, embodying Cyfannol Women’s Aid’s values at external meetings, public events, conferences, and similar ensuring that the organisation’s reputation is protected and enhanced.
