Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and talented Pasta Chef to become an integral part of our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pasta-making, a deep appreciation for Italian cuisine, and a desire to craft exceptional homemade pasta dishes that elevate our unique Italian-Japanese fusion concept. Weve built a dedicated pasta lab in Osteria, to ensure we can create the best handmade pasta.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and produce a variety of fresh pasta daily, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency in texture and flavor.
Create and develop unique pasta dishes that reflect our innovative approach to Italian-Japanese cuisine.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes are executed with precision and attention to detail.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist in ordering to ensure freshness and reduce waste.
Contribute to menu brainstorming sessions and seasonal updates with creative pasta concepts.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on pasta techniques and preparation.
Uphold a five-star hygiene rating by strictly following sanitation and allergen management protocols.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Pasta Chef or in a similar role within an Italian restaurant or fine dining setting.
Proficiency in making various types of pasta by hand and a strong creative flair for dish development.
