The company is keen to bring on a new Area Sales Manager. In this position, you will be working with a portfolio of customers in industries such as Food & Drink, Logistics, and Automation throughout the East Midlands area. Other focus areas include product training, presentations, and new business development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working with trusted existing customers, continuing to nurture, develop, and strengthen relationships.
2. Promote and sell the company's Power Transmission components to large End Users and OEMs across a range of industry sectors including Food & Drink, Logistics, and Automation.
3. Perform product training and sales presentations.
4. Develop new business while maintaining excellent service for current customers.
5. Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of parts and equipment.
Key Competencies:
1. BSc/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant engineering qualification.
2. Familiarity with the client landscape across the East Midlands area.
3. Familiarity with Power Transmission components (bearings, belts, chain, pulleys, sprockets).
4. Outside sales experience with a proven successful track record of selling to End Users and OEMs.
5. Ability to perform product training and sales presentations.
6. Experience in the development of new business.
7. Moderate to complex maths aptitude, along with mechanical aptitude.
8. Friendly; with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Self-management with a drive to succeed and achieve goals.
10. Unyielding commitment to customer service.
11. Computer proficiency, plus organizational and multi-tasking skills.
