Job Description
* Manage all construction costs from project inception to completion
* Assess and manage contractual risks
* Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents
* Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders on all commercial matters
* Lead and mentor junior quantity surveyors
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Carry out monthly cost and value reports
* Monitor and report on project cash flow and forecast costs
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Experience in the business services and construction industry
* Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procedures
* Excellent financial and numerical skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
