Sexual Health Service Lead – HIV Support and Prevention Service, Wakefield
Salary: SCP 23 – 25, £33,366 -£35,235 per annum pro rata - (Actual pro rata salary is £20,019.60 - £21,141.00 per annum)
Hours: 21 hours per week, initially funded until September 2026
Based: Wakefield

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Lead for our HIV support and prevention services across the Wakefield District. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Service Lead to coordinate a range of services to improve sexual and reproductive health in the Wakefield District and reduce inequalities in sexual and reproductive health.
Our services in Wakefield provide:
1. Support for people living with HIV
2. Community engagement initiatives and sexual health promotion interventions including outreach, 1:1 and group interventions
3. HIV and STI testing
4. Challenge stigma, discrimination and health inequalities
5. Promote equality and diversity
The post holder will manage a small team of staff and work collaboratively with our clinical, community and commissioning partners. The role will involve:
1. Development and delivery of a range of services to meet the needs of a diverse population
2. Developing strong partnerships and collaborations with a range of stakeholders
3. Providing management support to the team
4. Producing performance and activity reports
5. Representing BHA at relevant stakeholder meetings and forums
