Interventions Teaching Assistant | Location: Weybridge, KT13 | Payscale: £100-£115 | Duration: Long-term to Permanent | Start Date: ASAP Long Term Futures is currently searching for an Interventions Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful Primary school based in Weybridge, KT13. The school requires an outgoing, positive individual able to work with students across Key Stage 2 and support Interventions with a focus on supporting primary school children with Autism, ADHD and dysregulated behaviour. This role is ideal for a candidate who is confident in supporting on a 1:1 basis and larger groups across years 3-6. Experience working with children with SEN is essential. Your duties and responsibilities will include the following: Assisting students who require additional support based on their specific learning needs. (ADHD, ASD Support) Leading interventions focused on development areas to support students studying towards SATs. Provide 1:1 and small group assistance to children performing below age-expected levels. Work alongside teachers to design and plan learning methods that are most applicable for students experiencing difficulty. Keep track of student progress and targets and be part of targeted interventions.Candidate Criteria: Level 3 TA Qualification, degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification is beneficial but not essential. Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting or supporting SEN needs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Being able to remain patient and offer clear guidance and instructions.
