Role Overview:
Are you dedicated to making a meaningful difference in primary education?
We are looking for a dedicated and caring Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join our team in Horley.
In this role, you’ll be essential in supporting the growth, learning and development of children from Early Years to Key Stage 2, working alongside teachers and staff to ensure every child gets the tailored support they need to flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
* Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of students.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Track and monitor student progress, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to enrich the learning experience.
* Follow health and safety protocols and adhere to safeguarding guidelines.
* Assist with preparing learning materials and keeping the classroom organized.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification (Drama, Dance, Psychology, English, Sports Science, or similar).
* Experience working in a school setting, after-school clubs, or youth clubs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, kind, and enthusiastic approach.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
