We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to join our very successful aftersales team based at our Skoda Dealership in Worcester. The ideal candidate will have previous motor trade experience or a proven customer support background within a target-driven environment. You must have a passion for sales, and customer satisfaction is key. You should have the ability to engage with customers and build rapport, be well-presented, and possess a desire to succeed with an air of confidence.

Overview of Role
Service Advisors work as part of a customer service team, dealing with motorists to ensure their vehicles are serviced to the highest possible satisfaction. Service Advisors act as a liaison between the customer and the mechanic working on their vehicle. This role requires a great deal of product knowledge, good communication skills, selling skills, and customer service skills.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
1. Handling enquiries from customers.
2. Communicating with customers in person and over the phone.
3. Advising customers on the maintenance and servicing of their vehicles.
4. Acting as a liaison between customers and mechanics and explaining which repairs have been advised.
5. Offering customers additional products and services.
6. Administrative duties such as updating client accounts.
7. Explaining the estimated time and cost of the vehicle service and any necessary repairs.
Required Skills
1. Communication skills: Ability to speak to customers both in person and over the phone, explaining technical terms to help them make decisions about advised repairs.
2. Customer service skills: Motivated to provide the best possible service for the customer.
3. Sales skills: Expected to sell additional products or services to customers.
4. Technical knowledge: Useful to have some technical knowledge of the vehicles your company services to act as an effective liaison between customer and mechanic.
5. Organisation: Ability to organise effectively to provide the highest level of customer service while keeping up with administrative duties.
You will possess a valid UK driver’s license.
Working Hours
Working 8am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings 8.30am to 12.30pm on a rota basis.
