The position offers the option of remote working but will require some occasional travel to client sites or to CGI offices. All applicants must hold or be eligible for National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
As an advisory M365 Solution Architect, you’ll be working with a varied mix of clients and a wide range of exciting projects. You’ll be delivering work at high and low levels; shaping strategy, technical design, and hands-on implementation. This role will involve:
1. Collaborating with clients to understand business needs and translate them into effective M365 solutions.
2. Leading the design and delivery of M365 solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and security standards.
3. Providing hands-on support for M365 migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
4. Proactively identifying opportunities to optimize client environments and drive innovation.
5. Mentoring and guiding team members, fostering knowledge sharing and skill development across projects.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
We're looking for a range of the following skills and experiences:
1. Strong working knowledge across the M365 portfolio, with SME knowledge in one or more specialist areas, such as SharePoint, TEAMS, and OneDrive.
2. Experience working with a range of different project and architecture methodologies and frameworks (Agile Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, TOGAF, RCDA, etc.).
3. Track record of architecting M365 solutions and the creation of HLD documents, including experience of migrating from another M365/on-premise environment.
4. Quickly develop close working relationships and engage with others at an appropriate level.
5. Empathize and understand client requirements, aligning the solution/technology with the desired outcome.
6. Manage stakeholders at all levels and balance risk vs reward vs cost.
7. Bring fresh ideas based on past successes (and failures) from previous engagements to new scenarios.
