A third of our stores are owned and operated by Franchise Partners, and this field-based role will lead and grow the profitability of c85 stores You will act as a business coach and finely balance the relationship delivering investment, engagement, performance and challenge. You will also support the strategic development of this business functions and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with Support Office leaders Key Responsibilities: Co-create with Director of Retail, Franchise & Property the Franchise Strategy and plan, communicate, engage and deliver the Franchise strategy to franchise partners Create and deliver Franchise recruitment, succession & development plans that enables a Franchise business to achieve its potential Be accountable for the delivery of Franchise contract renewals and sell on’s and management of debt. Deliver our profit goals ·Coaching and development of line reports to create performing teams. Member of the Boots Opticians Retail Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Retail Director. Requirement to work with the Core estate and support all matters concerning retail trading Work with senior roles within each function in Boots Opticans Recruit, manage, develop and coach franchise partners to maximise business performance and profit. Be accountable for external and internal networks that facilitate the sourcing and recruitment of excellent business leaders. Develop a pipeline of talent specifically from the owned store estate by building relationships in the field teams Co-create efficient annual and 5 year business plans What you’ll need to have An experienced leader who can build brilliant internal and external business relationships Ability to lead transformational change within a cross-functional team Self starter skills and can balance autonomy with being accountable Strategic thinker, able to analyse issues and provide solutions at pace, and challenge the business where required. Commercially astute Optical retailer experience and sizeable exposure to Franchise/JV and Company owned business models with strong financial capability. Regional leadership experience is advantageous.
