Job Purpose: Provide a confidential and efficient HR administrative service for the 650 employees. The post holder will respond to face to face,telephone and email queries from employees and managers. This position is wil lsupport the HR Officer and HR Business Partner. Duties: To provide users and staff with a professional, efficient and supportive administrative resource. Provide a focus for Personnel coordination of processes and procedures across the TECS divisions. Together with the HR Officer seek ways continuously improve personnel procedures and other personnel related documents. Assist staff/management with personnel queries, in liaison with the HR Officer. Record and update all pay and terms and conditions changes on the master spreadsheets. Assist with the ongoing update of Personnel Records. Input and update the database as required, ensuring data is entered in a timely and efficient manner. Assist the HR Officer in the upkeep of records and input database of sickness absence and annual leave, producing statistical reports for the HR team. Work with the recruitment officer ensuring new starter paperwork is collated, security screening is completed and liaise with line managers and site with regards to uniform orders and start dates. Liaise with the Culture and Induction Manager to arrange new starter inductions. Issue one month and six month new starter surveys. Review the electronic learning portal and manage the 3 month probation period in liaison with the HR Officer. Ensure all leavers are removed from master spreadsheets and assist with termination paperwork when required. Assist with due diligence procedures on TUPE transfers, following up as necessary to ensure all obligations are met. Compiling monthly overtime totals and issuing monthly overtime reports.
