A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Security and Resilience to join our team, responsible for the delivery of our security and crisis management strategy to ensure that our people, visitors, contractors, buildings, and collections are secure, whilst maintaining a welcoming environment to visitors and worshippers.
The Head of Security and Resilience works collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders including emergency services, key national security networks, VVIPs, operational partners and will lead and inspire all those involved in security, resilience and welcome at St Paul’s.
We seek candidates with proven leadership in the field of security within a customer-focused environment. You will have led the development of security and resilience-led strategies, policies and processes and be able to prioritise, problem solve and build consensus.
You will have worked in complex organisations or stakeholder environments and have excellent commercial awareness. You are likely to have dealt, first hand, with large scale incidents and threats, and have demonstrable experience of crisis management.
In all that you do, you will be influential, persuasive and calm. In addition, you will share in St Paul’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
In return you’ll find we are a welcoming place to work and we each take responsibility for our part in the Cathedral’s work, looking after St Paul’s for the next generation.
