Working within a multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will contribute to a variety of planning services, benefiting from mentorship, structured training, and direct involvement in shaping the built environment. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals, and pre-application enquiries. Conducting site appraisals and research to support planning applications and strategies. Preparing planning reports and assisting in planning policy assessments. Monitoring planning applications and liaising with local authorities and stakeholders. Supporting senior team members in negotiations and project management. Keeping up to date with planning policy changes and industry developments. Requirements: A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field. A strong understanding of the UK planning system, ideally with some experience through internships or work placements. Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders. A proactive and driven attitude, with a keen interest in planning and development.
