Job Summary

The post holder will have an essential role in supporting the Child Protection Committee’s (CPC) multi-agency focus on quality assurance, practice improvement and digital safety work in line with the relevant legal, policy and professional standards and frameworks.
North Ayrshire have committed to the implementation of Signs of Safety and Safe and Together models of practice both of which focus on how we ensure collaborative working alongside families to ensure where at all safe and possible families can be supported to remain together.
The successful post holder has a pivotal role alongside the Chair of the CPC to ensure positive multi-agency working takes place alongside families to ensure children at risk of harm are identified and their families are supported to reduce identified harms.
We are looking for a passionate individual, who has an excellent grasp of legislation, practice guidance and policy within Child Protection.
You should be committed to working across all agencies to ensure effective safeguarding standards are in place for children and families living within North Ayrshire. For more details see the attached Role Profile below.
