Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, configure, and maintain ABB MOD300 DCS in an industrial automation environment.
2. Develop and implement control strategies, automation solutions, and system improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including process engineers, IT specialists, and maintenance teams to support operational goals.
5. Support system validation, commissioning, and qualification activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
6. Develop and update technical documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
7. Provide training and technical support to end users and other engineering personnel.
8. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in automation and process control.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of experience working with ABB MOD300 DCS in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
3. Strong understanding of industrial automation, process control, and system integration.
4. Proficiency in automation protocols, batch processing, and control system design.
5. Experience with scripting and database management (SQL, VBA, Python) is a plus.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
