Seated above our award-winning design studio, Jeffreys Interiors showroom is a creative playground, a retail space showcasing our favourite curations of design-led furniture, lighting and accessories. The likes of Kit Kemp, Jonathan Adler, Porta Romana and Julian Chichester, cosy in nicely with local makers and pieces crafted closer to home.
Specialising in statement conversation pieces, with a penchant for colour, and unexpected details, our store spans a kaleidoscope of design influences and eclectic styles. We offer a highly personalised retail service which includes custom furniture, lighting and soft furnishings.
We are looking for a sales motivated interior designer to join our fabulous retail team. Based in the heart of the showroom you will assist walk in clients who are looking to zhoozh* their homes.
* zhoozh. verb. make something more stylish, lively, or attractive.
Day to day, you will be;
- Driving sales in the showroom and converting leads, effortlessly matchmaking high quality products with their perfect home by selling items from our beautiful stock range, hosting consultation appointments in our libraries and visiting clients homes.
- Delivering first class customer service. You are the friendly face, our Front of House. From a passerby seeking inspiration to a large-scale bespoke furniture order, you will ensure a memorable, joyful and efficient experience for all clients from the moment they walk through the door to the delivery of their new purchases, with strong after sales support and swift complaint resolution when required. Aspirational, inspirational yet accessible, these are friendly and welcoming spaces free from snooty vibes or pretence.
- Maintaining the showroom standards and assisting with regular display changeovers, ensuring the showroom is always immaculate and visual merchandising standards are maintained. You will be topping up diffusers and flipping reeds, plumping cushions, and are not scared to get the hoover out (especially at Christmas, glitter anyone?)
- Promotion, Networking and Events - You will work with the retail manager and directors to grow our network and seek new customers. This will include taking an active role in delivering our calendar of in store events to promote the Jeffreys brand, build our reputation and generate leads.
This role requires;

You need to know your Paolo Moschino from your Pierre Frey and are comfortable with the complexities of designing and estimating window treatments and custom upholstery, recommending paint colours, lighting, rugs, wallpapers and fabrics. * A proactive, motivated self starter that can initiate, communicate, and execute plans and prioritise workloads.
* · A highly organised person with excellent administrative skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
* Confidence with computers and digital communication, Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook, CRM tools and EPOS systems. Knowledge of Esti PC and InDesign/Powerpoint for presenting recommendations to clients.

* A collaborative team spirit with excellent communication skills.
* A bright spark with ambition and enthusiasm to continuously grow and improve our services.
