Job Description:
As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
Supporting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the needs of individual students and small groups
Providing one-on-one support to students with additional learning needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN)
Assisting in the preparation of classroom materials and resources
Supporting students during activities, projects, and interventions to enhance their learning experience
Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate
Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education and support
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification
Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
Strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support students with diverse needs
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a proactive and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
