We are seeking a dedicated part-time Band 5 Audiologist to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The working hours are 18.75 per week (over 2 long days, approximately 7:45 AM - 6:15 PM).
Main Duties of the Job
The successful applicant must have a BSc in Audiology or equivalent, with relevant in-service training. RCCP or equivalent registration is an essential requirement, if already qualified. RCCP registration or equivalent registration must be applied for if your qualification is pending.
You must have NHS experience, either as a qualified Audiologist or as a student on placement.
You will be covering ENT clinics, doing direct referrals, reassessments, hearing aid fittings, follow-ups, and hearing aid repairs.
You will need to be flexible, a team player, and enjoy working with the elderly and hearing impaired.

Job Responsibilities
You will work within our Audiology Departments, primarily based at St Albans, with the flexibility to cover other sites as needed.
You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating hearing loss, providing essential care to our adult hearing-impaired population.
Person Specification
Education and Qualifications:
* BSc in Audiology or equivalent audiological qualifications.
* RCCP/HCPC/ACHS registered or working towards it.
* Member of BAA.
Knowledge:
* Confidentiality issues.
* Confident in all aspects of routine Audiology.
* Experience in using Auditbase patient management system.
Experience:
* Appropriate audiology in-service training.

Salary: £29,828 to £36,311 a year (including HCA pro rata)
