Assistant Manager - Full Time
We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Manager for our shop in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This is a permanent, full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week, usually including at least one weekend shift.
Please note that for full-time positions, flexibility in your availability throughout the week, including weekends, is generally required.
Pay & Benefits:
The salary for this position ranges from £30,240.00 to £31,392.52 per annum on a 43-hour contract.

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service
* Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching, mentoring, and feedback
* Act as the shop's accountable person in the absence of the shop manager, ensuring customer care, prompt deliveries, and maintenance of shop routines for safety and cleanliness
* Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste, and payroll
* Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members

* Some experience as a manager, team leader, or supervisor
