As a leading UK premium ventilation manufacturer, we are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Specification Sales Manager to join our successful team.
This role requires a sales professional with 3-5 years of field sales experience within electrical wholesale or social housing specification.
In this position, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling our ventilation products and solutions to key stakeholders within the social housing market, including planned works managers, reactive repairs managers, and specifiers.
Your focus will be on generating and maintaining specifications, securing projects, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within your designated territory.
Identify, engage, and build relationships with housing providers, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers to drive product specification within local authorities and housing associations.
Conduct impactful presentations and product demonstrations to educate and influence specifiers on the features and benefits of our ventilation solutions.
Collaborate with internal technical and design teams to provide tailored solutions and support specifiers throughout the project lifecycle.
Actively manage your project pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closure of opportunities.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential clients.
Work closely with the wider sales team to support sales efforts that may overlap into your territory.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on relevant industry standards, regulations, and codes.
Requirements: 3-5 years of field sales experience in electrical wholesale or social housing specification.
Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the electrical market, building materials, or construction-related sectors.
Strong understanding of the specification process within social housing, including working with housing associations and local authorities, or willingness to learn.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
Proficient in using CRM, Excel, Word, and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
