Although we are a large primary school in Coventry, we pride ourselves on knowing each child and family individually allowing our children to achieve their maximum potential. What is the job role?
The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a permanent role as Dining Room Assistant. We have a successful and established lunchtime team that provides healthy, nutritious meals for all of the school's stakeholders. We are passionate about providing a positive lunchtime experience for all of our pupils.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with our catering team to ensure that our lunchtimes are a positive experience for our pupils.
* Work both in the dinner hall and outside on the playground.
* Engage with our children ensuring that they adhere to the school's policies while providing a nurturing environment.
* Maintain high standards of hygiene within the dining hall while assisting pupils in all aspects of the lunchtime service.
* Assist in cleaning the dinner hall at the end of the lunchtime session.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will need to:
* Work professionally with all pupils and staff members to ensure a smooth and positive environment.
* Communicate effectively with all of the stakeholders of the school.
* Work efficiently as part of a team.
* Have an understanding of health and safety and personal hygiene.
* Be enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking.
* Be motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment.
