The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an ECT to join a cutting-edge Graphic Design department. You will be teaching students at Key Stage 3 and 4, inspiring their creativity and helping them develop their skills in design using advanced technology. With a well-equipped department, you will have access to state-of-the-art tools and resources to help students produce high-quality work. You will take charge of your own classes, fostering a love for graphic design while developing your teaching techniques.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a degree in Graphic Design (or a related field) and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
* Have a good understanding of the Key Stage 3 and 4 Graphic Design curriculum
* Be passionate about using technology to teach design and help students develop their creative ideas
* Have strong classroom management skills and be able to engage students of various abilities
* Be willing to collaborate with colleagues and share creative ideas and resources
