We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic event technology consultancy that’s revolutionising how brands and agencies measure event success through cutting-edge technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join as their first dedicated sales team member and contribute to their growth.
Role Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to establish and grow relationships with key partners, including event agencies and technology providers. You will be tasked with building a channel ecosystem that promotes our client’s event technology solutions, helping drive collaborative growth within the industry. Your entrepreneurial mindset will be key as you develop new partnerships and manage existing ones, driving adoption of the innovative technology into partner service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage strong relationships with channel partners (event agencies, tech providers, etc.).
* Identify partnership opportunities that align with the company’s growth strategy.
* Present our event tech solutions to partners in both virtual and in-person meetings.
* Support marketing and outreach efforts to increase brand awareness within the event and martech industries.
* Work closely with the founder to help shape the company’s channel growth strategy.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Minimum 2 years in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management. Previous exposure to event technology or martech is a plus.
* Skills: Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. Able to present complex solutions to potential partners and clients.
* Interest: A passion for event technology, data analytics, and the events industry.
* Organised: Excellent time management skills and a proactive, self-driven attitude.
* Travel: Willingness to travel to events and meetings with partners globally.
