Responsibilities:
* Provideemergency and nonemergency medical assistance and careonsite.
* Assistin managing medical emergency preparedness processes by reviewingand updating emergencyprocedures.
* Delivermedical training and coaching to Emergency Response Team (ERT)members.
* Participatein emergency response training to understand different roles duringemergencies.
* Manageonsite medical facilities for a timely and professionalresponse.
* Conductregular training on defibrillator usage and medicalissues.
* Developand maintain an audit function for health and medicalmanagement.
* SupportHealth & Safety (H&S) Manager in meeting reportingrequirements and analyzing healthdata.
* Promoteand adhere to company methodologies policies andstandards.
* Assistin interpreting legislation standards and agreements for riskmanagement.
* Collaboratewith OHS Department on projects related to health hygiene andworkerscompensation.
* Ensureefficient administration and injury management datarecording.
* Conductregular biological monitoring related to lead arsenic and mercuryexposuregroups.
Requirements
RequiredSkills andExperience:
* Bachelorsin Paramedical Science or equivalent experience with StateAmbulance Service or Bachelor of Science (Nursing) orequivalent
* Currentregistration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency(AHPRA).
* AdvancedLife Support (ALS)qualification.
* Experiencein emergency medical care and first responderroles.
* WesternAustralian Drivers Licence (Manual "C"Class).
* Familiaritywith RFDS protocols and medical evacuationprocedures.
* Knowledgeof Injury Management/Return to Workprocesses.
* Experiencein rural/remote medicalservices.
* 3years experience in the Miningindustry.
