General Maintenance Technician (Nights Monday to Friday)

Summary
NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting a General Maintenance Operative (Nights) to provide a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a retail environment (Drakes Shopping Centre and the Barcode, Located in Plymouth) and with the utmost regard for customer service.
This is a Monday to Friday (NIGHTS) 40 hour week, hours to be discussed at Interview.
Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:
1. Deliver PPM Fabric Inspections/ identifying remedial works.
2. Ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date, which will be regularly audited either by internal or external parties.
3. Be proactive in the approach to fabric maintenance, identifying areas for improvement and enhancing the overall service delivery.
4. Assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards when required.
What we’re looking for:
1. An experienced General Maintenance Operative working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a shopping centre environment.
2. Practical experience carrying out Fabric related PPM's in-line with industry standard or equivalent, with wide-ranging skills in Reactive and Repair work including but not limited to: flooring, painting, decorating, and general building fabric repairs.
3. Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs and Small Projects with minimal supervision.
4. Capable of working independently.
DESIRABLE:
1. City and Guilds from a recognised Trade or equivalent.
2. IPAF/MEWP Operator - Training can be offered.
3. L8 Awareness - Training can be offered.
