We have an excellent opportunity for an Apprentice Electrician to join our team in the North West. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and build a career.
The main purpose of the apprenticeship is to carry out electrical installations on domestic, commercial and industrial contracts and to gain experience whilst on site and in college.

Hours of work will be 39 per week, worked flexibly between the hours of 7.00am to 5.00pm – Monday to Friday.
What you’ll do:
1. Carrying out electrical installations on domestic, commercial and industrial contracts
2. Install electrical circuits as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches and equipment required to accommodate NICEIC Regulations
3. Test electrical equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
4. Installation, repair or replace electrical wiring, switch boxes, conduits, lighting and electrical parts
5. Carry out preventative maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment)
6. Comply with standard and procedures on site including health and safety regulations
7. Liaise and work with all other trades as required
Have you got what it takes:
1. To hold or be predicted GCSEs or equivalent, grade 4 and above / A-C in English and Mathematics
2. To hold or be predicted GCSE or equivalent, grade 4 and above in a Science subject (desirable)
3. Level 1 or 2 Diploma in relevant trade (desirable)
4. Read, interpret and execute drawings and electrical code specifications.
5. Eager to learn and positive attitude towards work
6. Desire to complete relevant qualification and assessments
7. Ability to communicate
8. Self-motivated
9. Ability to problem solve
10. Ability to follow health and safety procedures
11. Ability to adapt to a changing environment
12. Deliver a quality product in a timely manner
13. Ability to work under your own initiative
14. Have good timekeeping
