About the role
Our Passenger Experience Assistants play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operating and presentation of our airport. As one of the first faces our passengers see, they are responsible for ensuring the exemplary standard of service our passengers have grown to expect and enjoy is consistently met. Here are some of the duties you will perform:
* Attend to the needs and requests of all passengers.
* Check passengers and their baggage in for their flights at the check-in desks.
* Support with the boarding of passengers onto their flights via the departure gates.
* Provide supported movement to passengers who require it, for example, someone with reduced mobility.
* Cover duties in the Food & Beverage and Retail outlets across the terminal.
* Assist the cleaning team throughout your shift, ensuring our high standards of presentation are maintained throughout the airport.
* Provide assistance to passengers and customers within our Surface Access facilities.
* Fully embody the Airport's ‘One Team’ culture and understand that there may be times when you are required to undertake other activities to support the needs of the business.
* Understand that the Airport is in operation 24/7, so you may be scheduled and expected to work any shift during operating hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
To undertake this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team.
* Customer service experience with a commitment to delivering the highest standards.
