Are you an experienced BMS Project Engineer with a knack for project management and system optimisation? We're seeking a talented individual to join my client's team and play a vital role in delivering innovative solutions within the building management sector.
The Role:
As a BMS Project Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge BMS projects. Your responsibilities will span various critical stages of project development, ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and Specification: Lead the design and specification phases for new projects, ensuring compliance and accuracy while managing costs effectively.
2. Engagement: Collaborate closely with technical and business development teams to meet client needs and expectations.
3. Coordination: Oversee subcontractor activities to procure competitive designs and proposals aligned with project objectives.
4. Management: Coordinate on-site activities including surveys, audits, and data collection to support project objectives.
5. Design Leadership: Take ownership of control design processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
6. Support: Assist in tendering processes by providing comprehensive specifications and supporting bid development efforts.
7. Planning: Drive project planning activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
8. Assurance: Review technical documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and project requirements.
Requirements:
1. Proven track record in BMS projects within multidisciplinary teams.
2. Management: Demonstrated ability in client-facing roles and subcontractor management.
3. Competence: Proficiency in control design, project management, and commissioning.
4. Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards.
5. Compliance: Adherence to health and safety policies and regulations.
6. Expertise: Experience in integrating diverse systems and protocols.
7. Proficiency: Working knowledge of electrical safety regulations and practices.
