An exciting opportunity has arisen in Bolton Inpatients Acute Services. We specialise in the assessment and treatment of people with a broad spectrum of acute and enduring mental health needs. We provide care and treatment to inpatients that are experiencing an acute phase of a mental illness. Our aim is to manage and reduce the risks associated with acute episodes of mental illness through evidence-based assessment and treatment, and psychosocial interventions for individuals and their families.
We are looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic Band 5 nurses to work within our multi professional team. You will be part of a caring and compassionate team that is committed to supporting patients through their recovery journey.
We are seeking newly qualified or experienced mental health nurses.
There are 4 vacancies within the Inpatient Services at Bolton, 2 full time positions on Beech Ward, 1 full time position on Oak Ward and 1 full time position on Maple House.
Beech Ward is a 22 bedded male acute ward.
Oak ward is a 20 bedded female acute ward.
Maple House is a 6 bedded male Psychiatric Intensive Nursing Unit.
The wards are very busy and require staff that show a high degree of motivation and commitment to deliver excellent care. We have a substantial support package available to new starters and staff on the preceptorship pathway.
