People Development Consultant

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our People team as one of 3 People Development Consultants. This varied and fast-paced role will see you design and implement people development programs within specific directorates to ensure colleagues have the right skills at the right time to deliver against our AMP8 ambitions.
This role will see you build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the business and in particular the directorates you’re aligned to. You’ll be responsible for the full learning cycle from identifying skills gaps/development needs and implementing creative solutions to address them.
You’ll provide expert coaching to leadership teams on learning and organisational development approaches (L&OD) to enhance individual team and company performance.
You’ll also take responsibility for early career programs and retiree knowledge transfer initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective implementation.
There are several corporate projects you’ll have responsibility for leading which are intended to enhance skills and performance in areas such as assessment and selection, change management, leadership development, DEI programs, onboarding, and qualifications.
You’ll work as part of a high-performing Academy Team responsible for all learning and development across the organisation.
About you
You’ll be an experienced learning and development specialist with a track record of delivering impactful development interventions in a corporate environment.
Using your knowledge of current leadership and management theories, you’ll ensure best practice is applied to the work you deliver to ensure the best results. You’ll also have experience of designing and delivering leadership and management programs.
You’ll have exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and strong relationships at all levels within an organisation and in turn become a true partner to individuals and teams to improve performance and achieve our corporate ambitions.
Additionally, you’ll have experience building talent management strategies, aligning them with organisational goals to ensure we are simultaneously developing the present and future workforce.
